1974 - 1990

THE BEGINNINGS

In 1974, Daniel Reverdy arrived at his parents' farm with his wife Monique. The farm then had cereal fields, goats, and cows, but only a small vineyard.

The winegrowing activity gradually expanded, reaching 3 hectares by 1990. Christophe Reverdy, son of Daniel and Monique, then joined his parents and established the SCEA des Sardelles. The estate grew to include 100 goats, used in the production of Crottin de Chavignol cheese. Over time, vineyard land was acquired and replanted to increase the domain's size.

1995 - 2006

VITICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT

In 1995, a turning point was taken for the estate with the decision to develop the sale of the property's wine in bottles.

Following this desire to develop the farm, a new cellar was built in 1997, more spacious and allowing single-plot vinification.

From the 2000s, the family focused on wine production, the choice was made to stop breeding goats and the vineyard activity continued to grow.

When Daniel and Monique retired in 2006, their second son Guillaume, who had already worked on the estate since 1995, joined forces with Christophe in the SCEA.

SINCE 2020

THE THIRD GENERATION

Cyprien Perchaud, grandson of Daniel and Monique, joins his uncles Guillaume and Christophe on the property. Today it is the 2nd and 3rd generation of the family who manage the estate.

The technical tool is being modernized, with the construction of a new vat room, ready to welcome its first vintage in 2022.

2023 will mark the year of the organic conversion of the estate, with the first labeled harvest.
